RESTAURANT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints

  • Train, schedule, and support restaurant staff

  • Monitor food quality and service delivery

  • Manage inventory and supplier relationships

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

  • Track expenses, monitor budgets, and reduce costs

  • Use restaurant management software for reporting and analytics

  • Lead by example and promote a positive work environment

  • Handle administrative tasks such as rosters, payroll, and ordering

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in hospitality management or equivalent experience

  • Proven track record as an experienced restaurant manager- at least 5 years

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills

  • Strong organisational and management skills

  • Competency with POS systems and back-end restaurant management software

  • Understanding of workplace health and safety and food hygiene

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems quickly

  • The ability to handle customer complaints with excellent conflict resolution skills

  • Understanding time management and scheduling

  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service

ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and oversee the Accounts Department, including Payroll, Procurement, Warehousing, and Administration

  • Review and recommend systems for each of these functions

  • Review and restructure the Accounts Department with emphasis on workflows and efficiencies.

  • Supervise, train and evaluate accounting and support personnel

  • Budget, forecast and efficient cash management

  • Analyse procedures and controls in the operational and financial areas.

  • Perform cost control activities, monitor revenues and expenditures

  • Provide timely and accurate financial statements to the Executives and Board

  • Analyse the Company's financial health

  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company

  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports as required

  • Responsible for Income Auditing Functions

  • Oversee the Company’s tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial requirements

  • Ensure compliance with standards and company policies

 

Qualifications:

  • Certified Accountant

  • A master’s degree in Management, Finance, Business Administration or a related field will be considered an asset

  • 7-10 years progressive experience in Finance/Accounting with at least two (2) years in a Management/Supervisory role

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

  • A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to make clear and concise decisions

  • Ability to assemble, analyse and understand integrated spreadsheets and complex technical information, superior organisational skills, with an eye for detail

  • Prioritisation skills are necessary to meet deadlines

  • Effective relationship management skills

  • Self-disciplined, with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team

  • Flexibility and availability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays when the need arises
